Studio as an experiment in hybrid
hospitality, a place where architecture,
art, music, and surf culture could
coexist as a single living installation.
Set in the heart of Canggu, the 12-suite
project combined tropical brutalism
with a tactile, handcrafted material
palette, creating a spatial rhythm that
felt both raw and refined.
We approached the hotel not as
accommodation but as an evolving
cultural vessel: a site where curated
sound, rotating exhibitions, and
artisan-built furnishings shaped the
experience as much as the architecture
itself.
